Lewandowski Brings Barcelona To Win Against Celta Vigo With A Score 2-1

JAKARTA - Robert Lewandowski's two goals led Barcelona to a dramatic 2-1 win when they visited Celta Vigo headquarters in the 25th week of LaLiga at Abanca Balaidos Stadium on Sunday morning WIB.

El Barca opened the scoring through Robert Lewandowski in the first half. Iago Aspas equalized the position through his goal early in the second half before Lewandowski's penalty towards the end of the match to determine Barcelona's victory.

An additional three points left the Blaugrana with 54 points in third place, they are three points behind Girona in second and eight points from Madrid topped the standings.

Celta itself is now one rank above the relegation zone or 17th place with only 20 points.

The home team immediately took the initiative to attack at the start of the match, but Barcelona was still able to break it well.

Barcelona then began to be able to control the match and threatened Celta Vigo's defense several times.

The visitors' pressure paid off in the 45th minute. Receiving Yamal's Lamine pass, Robert Lewandowski controlled the ball before releasing a shot into the right of Celta's goal. The first half ended with a score of 1-0.

Celta Vigo could equalize two minutes after the second half started. Iago Aspas' shot from the front of the penalty box hit Jules Kunde, which made the ball turn to outwit goalkeeper Ter Stegen. The score changed 1-1 in the 47th minute.

Aspas had the opportunity to bring Celta back in the lead in the 71st minute. However, his shot after receiving a ball from Manu Sanchez was still wide.

When the draw was in sight, Barcelona was awarded a penalty in the 90+7th minute. The referee pointed to the spot after Yamal was brought down by Fran Beltran.

Lewandowski stepped up as the executor and did not waste that opportunity. His penalty goal brought Barcelona a dramatic win with a score of 2-1.
