JAKARTA The Indonesian Olympic Committee (NOC Indonesia) collaborated with the French Embassy for Indonesia to socialize the 2024 Paris Olympics.

The most prestigious multi-branch event will take place from July 26 to August 11. A total of 10,500 athletes will take part in 32 sports including 329 numbers.

"We, NOC Indonesia, have guests from the French Embassy to collaborate in the context of Road to Olympics," said Deputy Secretary General Cresida Mariska, quoted by an official statement.

In this cooperation agreement, NOC Indonesia was represented by Secretary General Wijaya Noeradi, Deputy Secretary General Cresida Mariska and Marketing and Communication Manager Arki Prizananda.

Meanwhile, the French Embassy was represented by the Cooperation Cooperation and Culture of Jules Irrmann and Charlotte Esnou as the Cultural Attache.

Indonesia has now passed six athletes to the four-year event. They are archer Arif Dwi Pangestu and Diananda Choirunisa, gymnast Rifda Irfanaluthfi, rock climbing athlete Desak Made Rita and Rahmad Adi Mulyono, and shooting athlete Fathur Gustafian.

For this year's edition, Indonesia is targeting to make history to win more than two gold medals for the first time in this grand event.
