Indonesia Masters 2024: Jonathan Failed To Keep His Title

Jonathan Christie failed at the Indonesia Masters 2024 (doc. PBSI).

JAKARTA It is certain that the men's singles Jonatan Christie will not be able to defend his title at the Indonesia Masters after losing the first round in this year's edition.

Jonathan is confirmed to return home after losing the rubber game 21-19, 19-21, and 19-21 against Lu Guangzhou at Istora Gelora Bung Karno, Senayan, Jakarta, Wednesday, January 24, 2024, afternoon WIB.

"Obviously I'm still grateful. Not in accordance with my expectations and targets. I feel the need to add something to practice. However, overall I struggled until the end," said Jonathan after the match.
