Indonesia Masters 2024: Rinov/Pitha And Putri KW Add Red-White Representatives In The Last 16

The mixed doubles pair Rinov Rivaldy/Pitha Haningtyas Mentari appeared in the first round of the Indonesia Masters 2024 (doc. PBSI).

JAKARTA The second round of Indonesia Masters 2024 tickets for the Red and White again. The last two additional tickets came from mixed doubles and women's singles.

The mixed doubles pair Rinov Rivaldy/Pitha Haningtyas Mentari got tickets to the following phase. Meanwhile, Putri Kusuma Wardani won the first round of the women's singles.

Rinov/Pitha qualified after defeating the Danish pair Mads Vestergaard/Christine Busch. They were forced to play tight in two games, 23-21 and 24-22.

The pair who won the Spain Masters 2021 were seen appearing confident in public itself at Istora, Gelora Bung Karno, Senayan, Jakarta. The support managed to trigger Rinov/Pitha's motivation to perform optimally.

"The audience support for us makes our game more fluid today. Indeed, there are still many shortcomings and mistakes made. We will continue to introspect to face every match," Pitha said after the match.

Meanwhile, Putri Kusuma Wardani kept her hopes in this Super 500 BWF level event after defeating representatives from Malaysia, Karupahthevan Letshaana, two straight games, 21-17 and 21-12.

As for the other matches, the mixed doubles Dejan Ferdinansyah/Gloria Emanuelle Widjaja had to lift the suitcase. They came home after admitting defeat to the first seed, Zheng Siwei/Huang Yaqiong, with a score of 14-21 and 13-21.

The Syed Modi India International 2023 champion admitted that he played impatient, making it difficult to match the Chinese pair's game.

"We played in a hurry in this match when we attacked. Throughout the match we were difficult to get out of the pressure," said Gloria.
