Ajax Ready To Compete With Chelsea To Accommodate Jordan Henderson

JAKARTA - Ajax Amsterdam is ready to accommodate midfielder Jordan Henderson if he leaves Al-Ettifaq. Ajax is also ready to compete with Chelsea who also intends to take home the former Liverpool captain

Ajax showed interest in signing Henderson. Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano revealed that the elite Dutch Eredivisie club does need experienced midfielders.

Henderson is considered the most appropriate to strengthen Ajax's mid-sector. Because the former Liverpool captain is clearly a midfielder full of experience. For 12 years, he was a pillar of the Reds' strength.

Henderson brought Liverpool to win the Champions League for the sixth time. He also won the English Premier League trophy, UEFA Super Cup and Club World Cup.

He hopes to return to Europe and has already found a club in the player transfer market in January 2024. According to Romano, Al-Ettifaq has given Henderson the green light. Ajax is also ready to negotiate with the Saudi Arabian club.

But Ajax will compete with Chelsea. This West London club is interested in signing Henderson. Considering Henderson's experience and seniority, which is expected to lift the performance of the Blues.
