Millwall Supporter Tried For Motorcycle Accident Leicester City Owner

JAKARTA - Two Millwall fans were tried for mocking the tragic helicopter crash of Leicester City owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha, at The Den Stadium.

The incident occurred when Millwall hosted Leicester City in the third round of the 2023/2024 FA Cup on January 6, 2024.

Staff at Millwall's Office were also reportedly seen talking to the two supporters. Through video footage circulating on social media, it appears that they moved their hands describing the helicopter crash and directed it to the visitors' stands.

A spokesman for the Metropolitan Police later confirmed the incident.

"Two men were detained and removed from the stadium. Each of them will be summoned for violations under the General Order Act."

"Investigations are being carried out to find a third person in connection with the incident," said the police.

In the FA Cup third round match, Leicester won 3-2 against hosts Millwall.

Apart from that, the owner of Leicester who is a Thai billionaire, Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha, had a helicopter accident in 2018.

His helicopter took off for a moment from the King Power Stadium, Leicester home. Srivaddhanaprabha was among the five people who died in the accident.

The accident investigator described that the rotor duplex pad failed to function and was irreparable which caused it to spiral out of control dramatically.

The helicopter rotated five times in 14 seconds while crashing over a public parking lot from an altitude of 430 feet.

Pilot Eric Swaffer came close to avoiding the mass tragedy. He managed to carry out every emergency measure perfectly and reduce the collision by attracting collective control.

However, the bottom left side of the helicopter crashed into a concrete ladder as high as half a meter causing a significant fuel leak and sparked a fire in one minute.
