Tottenham Hotspur Back To Winning Path, Postecoglou Puji Richarlison

JAKARTA - Ange Postecoglou's manager praised striker Richarlison for leading Tottenham Hotspur to a 2-0 win over Nottingham Forest in the English Premier League match at City Ground Stadium, Saturday, December 16 in the morning WIB. Moreover, Tottenham have also returned to winning ways.

Tottenham scored a hat trick of victory. After beating West Ham United 2-1, the North London club destroyed Newcastle United 4-1. Finally, Tottenham won 2-0 over Nottingham Forest.

In that match, striker Richarlison opened Tottenham's victory towards the end of the first half. Furthermore, Dejan Kulusevski solidified his lead to 2-0.

Tottenham were able to maintain their lead despite playing with 10 people following Yves Bissouma's red card in the 70th minute.

Postecoglou said he was happy with the team's achievements. Moreover, The Lilywhites were able to beat the hosts.

"It was a tough game. Moreover, we faced opponents who really needed points. But we remained calm and could control the game. I am happy with their performance," said Postecoglou.

The manager also showed satisfaction with Richarlison's performance. According to him, the Brazilian national team striker shows he is a predator in the penalty box.

"Richy was indeed a predator when he was in front of goal. Especially when it was an aerial duel. He was indeed different from Sonny [Son Heung-min]," he said.

"I'm happy to see his performance. This makes me confident. When he plays, he always does his job for us," said Postecoglou.

Victory over Forest has not changed Tottenham's position. They remain in fifth place with 33 points. Meanwhile, Forest, who is ranked 16th, has 14.
