Ernando Ari Injured Ahead Of The 2023 Asian Cup, Shin Tae-yong Still Has Three Options

JAKARTA - Bad news hit the Indonesian national team ahead of the 2023 Asian Cup. Ernando Ari Sutaryadi, who used to guard under the crossbar, was injured.

Ernando suffered an injury while appearing to defend his team, Persebaya Surabaya, in Liga 1 2023/2024 at Gelora Bung Tomo Stadium, Wednesday, December 13, 2023. While guarding the crossbar, Ernando collided with Persis Solo players.

Because of the incident, Ernando even had to come out in the 73rd minute to get a virgin. It was even known that the goalkeeper had difficulty walking after the incident.

"Ernando was sick, couldn't continue the match," said Persebaya's caretaker, Uston Nawawi after the match.

Until now, there has been no further confirmation regarding the condition of Ernando's injury, however, it is possible that the goalkeeper will miss defending the Indonesian national team in the 2023 Asian Cup in order to undergo recovery.

Nadeo Argawinata
