IBL 2024 Without NSH Mountain Gold Timika And West Bandits

NSH Mountaint Gold will not participate in IBL 2024 because the license is revoked by IBL (doc. IBL).

JAKARTA The 2024 Indonesian Basketball League (IBL) competition will certainly not be enlivened by NSH Mountain Gold Timika and West Bandits.

NSH will not compete in the most prestigious basketball event in Indonesia after their membership license is revoked by IBL management.

The revocation was motivated by the unresolved resolution of the club's internal problems until the time limit given.

"We revoked the Mountain Gold Timika license based on the long process of assisting the club regarding the problems experienced," said IBL's statement.

Various media efforts were made before the league determined the revocation in accordance with the implementation regulations of IBL Chapter II Article 7 Paragraph 2 Point 2.2 Point 2.2.2 concerning the Decision to Revocation of IBL Club Licenses.

The revocation could be made because the club did not pay the basic salary, contract money, bonuses, and other allowances for more than three months since the season ended.

Meanwhile, West Bandits will certainly not be a contestant next season for selling their licenses after competing in the last three seasons. This was done because of the conditions and problems faced by the club in IBL 2023.

The role of West Bandits as the name bearer of Solo City in IBL will also be replaced by Ksatria Bengawan Solo. Ksatria will appear in IBL 2024 as a new contestant.

"We are proud to be born and raised in Solo. We have focused all of the activities of this team in Solo. We use the Sritex Arena as our homebase," said Bengawan Solo Ksatria Club President Yakup Putra Hasibuan.

Knight is one of two new contestants competing in IBL 2024. Another new contestant who is also a newcomer is Rajawali Medan.

Rajawali Medan will replace the Evos Thunder Bogor license. Thus, there are still 16 IBL 2024 participants so far.
