Radja Nainggolan Has Not Been Able To Defend Bhayangkara FC At The Beginning Of The Second Round Of Liga 1

Radja Nainggolan may be able to appear with Bhayangkara FC in the match against PSM Makassar in Liga 1 (Instagram.com/@raja_nainggolan_I4).

JAKARTA - Bhayangkara FC will undergo their inaugural match in the second round of Liga 1 2023/2024 against Persikabo 1973. However, in the 21st week match, their new player Radja Nainggolan is certain to have not been able to participate in the squad.

The match between Bhayangkara FC vs Persikabo 1973 will be held at Wibawa Mukti Stadium, Cikarang, on Sunday, December 3, 2023. However, Radja Nainggolan will not be included in the list of players.

This was confirmed by COO Bhayangkara FC, Sumardji. Da said the reason Radja was not involved was because of the time of the player's presence that was not on the team's schedule.

"He (Radja Nainggolan) just arrived on 4 (December) (joining the squad)," Sumardji said as quoted Friday, December 1, 2023.

Radja Nainggolan is most likely only able to defend the team in the match against PSM Makassar. The reason is, the match will only be held on December 8, 2023.

Radja Nainggolan was officially recruited as a new player for The Guardians in the 2023/2024 Liga 1 second round transfer market.

His presence is expected to boost the team which is currently being hit at the bottom of the standings with 10 points from 20 matches that have been played.

The arrival of Radja Nainggolan to Bhayangkara FC had raised questions about the player's performance. You see, before joining, the former Inter Milan and AS Roma players were without a club.

Last time, he played for the second caste club, SPAL, until the end of the season. After that, he doesn't have a club.

However, regarding performance, Radja had warned that he was still a reliable player when negotiating with Sumardji.

"Yes, it (about fitness conditions) is also one of the considerations," said Sumardji.

"At the initial conversation, we also talked to Radja's agent. I also talked to Radja himself. He told me, 'The boss doesn't need to worry because I have a personal trainer as long as I don't compete and no club. Second, I always practice every day. Third, I maintain fitness'. It was conveyed to me repeatedly, "said Sumardji.
