JAKARTA - Liverpool's defense is fragile again. In the match against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in the FA Cup, Tuesday, February 3, the Reds lost 0-2. Jurgen Klopp puts Liverpool into trouble.

A mistake from Adrian - replacing main goalkeeper Alisson - saw Willian open the scoring before Ross Barkley doubled the Blues' lead one second after halftime.

Previously in the Premier League, Liverpool also lost 0-3 at Watford. This is their first defeat in the Premier League for the 2019-2020 season. It is now two or more goals conceded in three consecutive games it is the first time since 2016.

The return of Joe Gomez to the starting XI next to Virgil van Dijk, failed to help Liverpool's back line. However, Klopp is not too worried about just one win in four games.

"Normally you don't get a lot of chances against us and things like this, but now we have to admit that in the last three games - (maybe) four - we conceded too many goals, that's true," Klopp said.

"I don't care about the momentum, but this is football and we never thought it would be an easy season, it would be an easy period, it would be an easy game tonight. No, always clear it will be difficult - always. obviously difficult.

"We did very well, but tonight was not good enough in the decisive moments and that's what we have to accept."

In last night's match, Kepa Arrizabalaga made three saves to save successive chances for Sadio Mane, Divock Origi and Curtis Jones when Chelsea were just leading 1-0.

Liverpool failed to kick on goal in the second half. Even so, Klopp is quite happy with the performance of his team especially after he made seven changes to the starting line-up.

"Tonight's game was very different from at Watford," said Klopp. "Against Watford it was really bad, tonight was not bad."

"Our performance tonight, I'm not worried about that. It's football, if you make a decisive mistake then you lose the game."

According to Opta Joe, with this defeat Liverpool have suffered three defeats from the last four games in all competitions, as many as they have in their previous 66 combined.
