Francesco Bagnaia Worried About Disrupted Weather Opportunities To Win MotoGP 2023

JAKARTA Ducati Lenovo Team racer Francesco Bagnaia is worried that the weather will interfere with his chances of locking up the 2023 MotoGP world title.

The world's most prestigious motorcycle racing championship will hold the final series of the season at the Ricardo Tormo Circuit, Valencia, Spain, on Sunday, November 26, nearest.

Bagnaia said the most worrying thing at the weekend is the weather. Therefore, he hopes that the weather will be friendly to smooth his journey to winning the title.

"The thing that worries me more now is the weather. On November 26, 2023 in Valencia, you never know what will happen. However, hopefully and let's see," he was quoted as saying by Crash.

Bagnaia is present as the leader of the drivers' standings and has a great chance of defending the title. He is now 21 points ahead of host racer Jorge Martin.

The chance to win the 2023 MotoGP title is currently only owned by the two names. Both will win a total of 37 points with a maximum remaining, each from a full race of 25 points and a sprint race of 12 points.

To be able to lift the title, Bagnaia only needs to win a sprint while hoping that Jorge Martin will finish third in the race which will take place on Saturday, November 25, 2023.

Bagnaia said he did not want to worry about the difference in points and threats from Jorge Martin. He said he was more focused on getting the best results.

"To be honest, the best way not to be influenced by pressure is to think to the maximum. Just focus on doing the race as best you can," he said.

If you defend your title this weekend, Bagnaia will lift the world champion trophy back-to-back since Marc Marquez's last time in 2019.
