JAKARTA - The management of Deltras FC ensured that his team was safe after the riots broke out at Gresik United headquarters. He also appealed to the team's supporters to keep the situation conducive.

The riots occurred after the Deltras FC match against Gresik United at the Gelora Joko Samudro Stadium on Sunday, November 19, 2023 afternoon WIB. The incident involved unscrupulous supporters and the police who were on guard and opened fire on tear gas.

Following this situation, the Deltras FC management released an official statement following the riots in the 2023-2024 Liga 2 continued match. Through team manager, Dian Fehani, they confirmed that no host supporters wanted to hurt their opponents.

As is known, the chaos began with Gresik United supporters protesting to management over the minor results suffered by the team. This condition arose after Gresik United lost 1-2 to the visitors, Deltras FC.

"Fans Gresik United did not vent his anger on the Deltras team. It's just that they had wanted to voice their aspirations to the management for the result of the defeat," said Dian Fehani in an official club statement quoted Monday, November 20, 2023.

"The rest, we don't know the details of the riots because the team is still in the stadium," he added.

Regarding the condition of the Deltras FC players after the riots, Dian ensured that all players and officials were in good condition. They were able to return to Sidoarjo safely even though they were stuck in the stadium.

"It's just that the team was stuck in the stadium. After the conditions outside, they felt conducive, then we got out using the bus to the toll gate. Thank God, it's safe," said Dian.

Furthermore, the Deltras FC management appealed to supporters to continue to maintain conducive conditions. Dian wants Deltras supporters to focus on enjoying the victory over the rival rather than being provoked by the heat pressure that occurs.

"Even so, we also gave an appeal to Deltamania to keep the atmosphere conducive, orderly, and grateful to enjoy victory."
