Face-off Sessions Of Tyson Fury And Oleksandr Usyk Taking Heat

JAKARTA The face-off session between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk was hot at a press conference to confirm the unification of their heavyweight title, November 16, 2023 local time.

The two boxers who control all the heavyweight belts will certainly enter the ring to win the undisputed world champion in Saudi Arabia on February 17, 2024.

After confirming their fight, the WBC and Usyk champions WBO, IBF, and WBA rulers got into tensions. They were finally separated by officers.

The heat pressure on this face-off session was started by Fury. The British boxer uttered words and pushed Usyk's head with his head.

He also interrupted Usyk's promoter, Alexander Krassyuk, and attacked the opponent's manager, Egis Klimas, with words that were no less scathing.

Fury vowed to win Usyk's belt in the same way he did to Usyk's compatriot, Wladimir Klitschko, in 2015.

"You are welcome to share the ring with the undisputed heavyweight champion, namely me," Fury said as quoted by Sky Sport.

"You are all document makers, Usyk is eliminated and both of you (Krassyuk and Klimas) will work for me. Bring my bag. So, remember I said that on this stage," Fury added.

Fury took the WBC belt from Deontay Wilder in 2020 with a knockout win (KO). He repeated this result in their 2021 rematch.

After that, Fury defended his title by defeating Dillian Whyte and Derek Chisora last year.

Meanwhile, Usyk united the three titles through an absolute victory over Anthony Joshua in September 2021. He then won again in their rematch in August 2022.

Usyk said he was quite confident in controlling the world title was undisputed since Lennox Lewis 24 years ago.

"I want to tell a story that looks very similar to my story with Tyson, about David andAMph," Usyk said.

"When God gives Tyson into my hands, I will do my job. God doesn't have anything impossible," said Usyk.
