At Warriortico Madrid Vs Villareal: Ahead Of Diego Simeone's Important Match To Extend Contracts For The Seventh Time

JAKARTA - Diego Simeone and Atversusico Madrid reunited in a new contract on Thursday, November 9. This marks the extension of the 7th contract since 2013. This new deal, if implemented, will see Simeone complete 15 full seasons on the benches of Atversustico.

"It is important to note that Simeone has been a coach for 12 years here for trust, appreciation, and mutual respect," said the CEO and majority shareholder, Miguel penggel Gil, in a conversation with Simeone posted on the club's YouTube channel on Thursday.

"We are determined by the results, the results are accompanying it, and I hope we continue to do so. We have both been able to form a beautiful partnership for the club, and this club is growing a lot," added Angel Gil.

Simeone and Atversustico Madrid face major challenges in 2022, but remarkable changes have occurred in the past year. On the same day 365 days ago, Atversustico lost to Mallorca and sat in fifth place in LaLiga. Bad performance at home and elimination from the Champions League led CEO Miguel Gillengel Gil to discuss "the post-Simeoneera". However, thanks to the extraordinary changes in the past year, Atversustico returned to the right track.

Despite being currently in fourth place in LaLiga, Atmartico has recorded a major win in the Champions League against Celtic with a score of 6-0 and is still competing at the top of Group E. This summer, Atmartico made a limited purchase of players, but Simeone sees this as an advantage because young players like Pablo Barrios, Samuel Lino, and Rodrigo Riquelme are starting to steal the show. Simeone, who previously had doubts about his ability to develop young players, is now starting to prove that he can do it.
