JAKARTA - Manchester City strolled smoothly into the FA Cup quarter-finals. Pep Guardiola's men won easily 3-1 on a trip to second-tier Swansea City for the fifth round match which took place at the Liberty Stadium, Wales, Wednesday local time (Thursday WIB).
Launching Antara, Kyle Walker, Raheem Sterling and Gabriel Jesus each contributed one goal for City, which Swansea could only reply once through Morgan Whittaker.
The result marked City's 15th straight win in all competitions, a new record that surpassed Preston North End's 14-game streak in 1892 and Arsenal's in 1987.

Arriving at Swansea headquarters with high self-confidence after crushing defending English Premier League champions Liverpool 4-1, City were able to open the scoring in the 30th minute through a lucky Walker goal.
Walker actually tried to cross from the right into the far post area, Ferran Torres tried to reach it but failed and the ball already made goalkeeper Freddie Woodman tricked before nesting into the hosts' goal.
Two minutes later, Swansea had the opportunity to equalize, unfortunately Jay Fulton's header to greet Connor Roberts' cross still flew slightly over the crossbar.
City's lead lasted until halftime and was doubled just two minutes after the second half's follow-up when Rodri Hernandez snatched the ball from the center of the box and sent it towards Sterling who was standing free enough to tuck it into the bottom right corner of the net.
Then in the 50th minute, City scored their third goal through Jesus who got past Joel Latibeaudiere's block while controlling Bernardo Silva's header and finishing it with a hard left-footed strike.
Even though there was still more pressure, Swansea was able to reply in the 77th minute with Whittaker's volley to greet Ryan Manning's cross, but the goal ended only as a consolation goal as City continued to win 3-1 at the end of the match.
City followed the steps of city rivals Manchester United and second-tier Bournemouth, who had already qualified for the quarter-finals the day before.
