Martinelli And Jesus Win Arsenal Over Sevilla

Sevilla did not move in front of Arsenal. In the Champions League Group B duel at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium, Wednesday, October 25 in the morning WIB, Brazil's duo, Gabriel Martinelli and Gabriel Jesus gave Arsenal a 2-1 win over Sevilla.

Sevilla may force Real Madrid to draw 1-1 in the Spanish La Liga last weekend. But Sevilla, who have veterans Sergio Ramos and Ivan Rakitic, were unable to keep up with the Gunners.

Arsenal, who again showed impressive performance after a 2-2 draw against Chelsea in the English Premier League, rolled host Sevilla to qualify for the Champions League through the Europa League title.

The victory led Arsenal to the top position of the standings after getting six points. A point lead from Lens who drew 1-1 against PSV Eindhoven.

Meanwhile, Sevilla itself is ranked third with point two. The same as PSV which is at the bottom of Group B.

Despite winning by scoring two goals, Arsenal had difficulty facing Sevilla. In the early minutes of the match, Martinelli had a chance to score.

But he couldn't take a pass from Jesus because his shot was saved by goalkeeper Orjan Nyland.

Furthermore, there were no dangerous attacks from Arsenal or Sevilla. However, the Youssef En-Nesyr striker had threatened the goal of the North London club which was again escorted by David Raya. It's just that the opportunity could be thwarted.

When the match entered first-half injury time, Martinelli finally broke the deadlock. Arsenal managed to take the lead after Martinelli broke into the host's goal.

The goal started with Sevilla's corner which was done by Raitic. The ball into the goal was met by Gudelj's strong header. The score changed to 2-1.

It's just that there were no additional goals and Arsenal managed to maintain the lead until the end of the game.
