Luca Marini And Marco Bezzecki, Pertamina Grand Prix Indonesia MotoGP Heroes

During the Pertamina Grand Prix Indonesia MotoGP, two Italian racers, Luca Marini and Marco Bezzecki, became true heroes. The two riders suffered a bone injury, but still performed outstanding in the Tissuet Sprint race which was held in Indonesia, which took place on Saturday, October 14.

Luca Marini, who had missed two previous races due to injury, even started the race from pole position. Marco Bezzecki is no less impressive. He just underwent stilt surgery after suffering an injury in a training incident. Bezzecchi arrived in Indonesia on Friday, October 13, just days after undergoing surgery, to participate in the race. Despite experiencing pain and physical limitations, Bezzecchi managed to reach third place in the Tissue Sprint race.

"It is very difficult," Bezzecchi said, quoted from Motorsport.com. "I didn't expect to come here at all and reach for the podium in today's sprint. I decided to compete on Wednesday morning, so it was pretty good."

"But the start was good and in the first half of the sprint, I felt very good physically. I don't know if it's because of adrenaline from the start of the race as usual," he added. "But I feel good and when I'm behind Luca, as soon as I get closer, I start to feel the slipstream and the heat flow, and to put the brakes on his bike becomes much more difficult. There, physically, I'm starting to have a lot of trouble."

The brilliant achievements of these two racers have won praise from their colleagues. Marc Marquez, a Honda racer, called them "superheroes." He stressed that drivers who can perform extraordinaryly despite having just undergone injury operations are heroes. However, he also noted that this kind of action is not without risk, and the main key is whether the racer can avoid accidents that can exacerbate their injuries.
