Schedule And List Of 7 Indonesian Chess Athletes Competing At The 2023 Asian Games

JAKARTA - The Executive Board of the Indonesian Chess Association (PB Percasi) released seven athletes to compete in the 2023 Asian Games in Hangzhou, China.

The seven chess athletes were sent after undergoing a training camp (TC) in Budapest, Hungary, from August 3 to September 13.

Of the seven names sent by athletes, they will compete in three events at the 2023 Asian Games. The three numbers are men's individual fast chess, women's individual fast chess and women's team standard chess.

The 2023 Asian Games in Hangzhou is the third time Percasi has sent representatives for Indonesia to fight in the biggest sporting championship in Asia. Previously, Percasi had also contributed to the 2006 Asian Games Doha, Qatar and the Guangzhou Asian Games, China 2010.

The government, in this case the Ministry of Youth and Sports (Kemenpora), has charged two silver and one bronze medals.

At the 2023 Asian Games, chess itself will start competing from September 24 to October 7. The men's/women's individual fast chess will start from September 24 to September 27, while the standard chess for the men's/women's team from September 29 to October 7.
