Makes Mewek, Former Young British Star Dies At The Age Of 23 Shortly After Proposing For Her Lover

JAKARTA - Former young British star Ben Cull died at the age of 23 after a long struggle against cancer.

The former Southampton academy player began battling Sarkoma Ewing at the age of 17. His condition has deteriorated in recent months.

This prompted her to propose to her old boyfriend Daisy Morrison. But sadly, he gave up on his fight against the rare bone disease and soft tissue.

He died just weeks after proposing to his true love at the hospital.

Daisy, who was heartbroken, announced Ben's death in an Instagram post. The farewell message was also very emotional

"The most difficult separation. Yesterday I lost my whole life, my best friend, my heart, my whole life. I always hope and pray today will never come," wrote Daisy.

"The true heart is real, my heart hurts physically and I have never felt pain like this," he continued.

He later revealed that his parents were devastated by the departure of his lover. Daisy said Ben Cull has a very similar personality to his father.

"You fought until the end of my dear, I know you really did everything you could to survive and even though you suffered so badly you kept going, I will be forever grateful, you never give up, God only has his own plans," he wrote again.

"You are your sister smiling every day, telling me to wake up, you are the first person I meet when there is a problem. The person who makes me feel safe by his side every night, the person who makes the whole room laugh, you are your brother over all this, you tell me the purpose. The only person I want to talk to right now is you and I can't do anything that destroys me," he continued.

"You have done many times to be brave for you and never give up and I promise to try it. I miss you so much and will do every second of every day, my dear, hug, kiss, laugh, message, and everything. My heart will never recover from the hole you left. Your release will always be the hardest thing I ever have to do. Good night dear, see you there one day, we will meet again my dear and finish the story because this is not over yet," he concluded.

Morrison received many condolences from his followers. One of them commented, "How humane, really man. Gunna is so missed."

Another said, "I'm so sorry Daisy, it's an honor to know a young man who is so inspiring and brave, his life is so hard to think about you in these sad times."

Ben Cull started his football career at Southampton's academy and became part of their U-18 squad in the summer of 2015.
