Brazil Lumat Bolivia 5-1, Neymar Scores 2 Goals

JAKARTA - The Brazilian national team made a convincing victory over the Bolivian national team with a score of 5-1 in the Conmebol 2026 World Cup qualifying match at the Mangueirao Stadium, Belem, Brazil, Saturday morning.

Brazil's victory came thanks to goals from Rodrygo (2), Raphinha, and Neymar (2), while Bolivia had time to reply through Victor Abrego, Conmebol noted.

Quoted by ANTARA, Saturday 9 September, the victory made Brazil occupy the top of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers in Conmebol zone with three points from one match, while Bolivia was in last place.

Statistically, Brazil appeared dominant by recording 80 percent possession and releasing a total of 17 of them on target.

The Samba team immediately took the initiative to attack the match and had a chance through Neymar's free kick which was still sideways from Bolivia's goal.

Brazil had a golden opportunity to take the lead after getting a penalty after Bolivian defender Adrian Jusino made a handball in the box.

Neymar, who came forward as the executioner, failed to carry out his duties properly after his shot was secured by Bolivian goalkeeper Guillermo Viscarra.

Brazil was finally able to score in the 24th minute after Rodrygo was able to welcome Raphinha's kick ball so that the score changed to 1-0. The score lasted until the first half was over.

Entering the second half, Brazil did not relax the pressure and could add to the advantage in the 47th minute through a goal scored by Raphinha so that the score changed to 2-0.

Winning two goals, Brazil was more comfortable in playing and managed to increase the lead to 3-0 thanks to Rodrygo's goal using Bruno Guimaraes' pass in the 53rd minute.

Neymar, who previously failed to execute a penalty, took part in recording the name on the scoreboard after successfully breaking into Bolivia's goal in the 61st minute so that the score changed to 4-0.

Bolivia was able to reduce the gap in the 78th minute substitute Victor Abrego broke into the Brazil goal guarded by Ederson Moraes so that the score changed to 1-4.

Brazil closed the game with a 5-1 win after Neymar scored his second goal in the 90+3 minute.

Brazil will then face Peru in the 2026 World Cup Qualification of the Conmebol zone, Tuesday (12/9) local time. While Bolivia will play a tough party to host Argentina on the same day.
