Sad News, Anthony Sinisuka Ginting's Mother Dies

JAKARTA The sad news came from the Indonesian single badminton player, Anthony Sinisuka Ginting. Lucia Sriati's beloved mother passed away.

The Indonesian Badminton Association (PBSI) in a statement on Instagram social media on Wednesday, August 9, 2023 at noon WIB, has confirmed the news.

"PBSI expresses its deep condolences for the passing of Anthony Sinisuka Ginting's mother," reads the description of the upload from the national badminton parent.

"Hopefully the late Lucia Sriati will have the best and most beautiful place by His side and the leaves left behind will be given sincerity and patience," they added.

Anthony in his statement to PBSI said his mother died at 12.30 WIB. However, more detailed news regarding the information has not been obtained by PBSI.

"The information is that Ginting's mother has passed away. Sorry, we have not received complete information," said a written statement from the Head of Public Relations and Media of PBSI Broto Happy which was conveyed to the media crew.

Until this news was published, it was not known for certain the cause of leaving the mother of the owner of the bronze medal at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
