Indonesia Gets 18th And 19th Gold Medals Through Kun Bokator Sports

JAKARTA The Indonesian contingent added the Cambodia 2023 SEA Games gold medal to 19 after the Kun Bokator sport added two on Monday, May 8, 2023.

The 18th gold medal was presented by the trio of Riana Oktavia, Riva Hijriah, and Eni Tri Susilowati. They managed to get out to be the best in the Women's Bare Hand Form Group number.

Meanwhile, the 19th gold medal was presented by Nur Arifin and Yazid Hanifam Kurniawan from the Men's Duo Group Performance number.

"18TH GOLD FOR INDONESIA! Congratulations to Riana Oktavia, Riva Hijriah, Eni Tri Susilowati from the Kun Bokator sport who managed to present a gold medal for Indonesia in the Women's Bare Hand Form Group number," said the Ministry of Youth and Sports statement.

"THE 19TH GOLD FOR INDONESIA! Congratulations to Nur Arifin and Yazid Hanifam Kurniawan from the Kun Bokator branch who succeeded in presenting a gold medal for Indonesia in the Men's Duo Group Performance number," the Ministry of Youth and Sports said shortly ago.

Previously, the same sport also contributed gold medals through Muhammad Martin Ramadhan, Tedi Hidayat, and Sendiagi Putra who managed to become winners in the Men's Bare Hand Form Group number.

Meanwhile, there was an additional silver medal coming from the triathlon branch through athlete Rashif Amila Yaqin. This is the second medal in question after he previously won gold in the aquathlon number.

Meanwhile, the other two bronzes were again obtained from the Kuni Bokator sector after Miftahul Jannah took third place in the Women's Combat number 45kg and Obaja Halomoan Sianturi in the third best at Men's Combat 55kg.

The addition of five medals made Indonesia as a whole have collected 18 gold, 13 silver, and 24 bronze medals at the 2023 SEA Games.
