5 Indonesian Representatives Who Have Qualified The Last 16 Of The 2023 Spain Masters

JAKARTA - The first round of the Spain Masters 2023 will be completed on Wednesday, March 29 in the morning WIB. Of the seven Indonesian representatives in that round, five of them managed to secure tickets to the round of 16.

Appearing at the Centro Deportivo Municipal Gallor, Madrid, the men's doubles pair Muhammad Shohibul Fikri/Bagas Maulana opened up the struggle in this main round. After opening Bagas/Fikri, tickets to the round of 16 were also successfully secured by mixed doubles Febriana Dwi Puji Kusuma/Amalia Cahaya Pratiwi. The seventh seed managed to beat Hsu Ya Ching/Lin Wan Ching from Taiwan in two straight games.

Returning to the men's doubles number, Pramudya Kusumawardana/Yeremia Erich Yoche Yacob Rambitan also impressed. The world's 21st-ranked men's doubles overthrows Japan's representative, Keiichiro Matsui/Yoshinori Takeuchi, within 23 minutes.

Meanwhile, Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Rian Ardianto appeared without a hitch when they met Kevin Lee/Ty Alexander Lindeman. The top seed in the men's doubles Spain Masters 2023 only takes 20 minutes to secure a place in the advanced round.
