Barcelona 2-1 Real Madrid: Blaugrana Masters El Clasico Dramatically

JAKARTA - Barcelona won El Clasico against Real Madrid in the Spanish La Liga continued, Monday, March 20, early morning WIB. Franck Kessie's dramatic goal led Barcelona to a 2-1 win at Spotify Camp Nou.

Real Madrid actually took the lead through Ronald Araujo's own goal. However, Sergi Roberto equalized before the end of the first half.

Franck Kessie became Barcelona's winning hero thanks to his 90+2 goal in the 90+2 minute.

This three-point achievement made Barcelona stronger at the top of the standings and away from Real Madrid's pursuit. The Blaugrana is now collecting 68 points, 12 points ahead of Los Blancos who are ranked second.

Real Madrid immediately stepped on the gas from the first minute. Karim Benzema immediately fired a shot into the net, but Marc-Andre ter Stegen was able to stop it.

Barcelona attacked back after that. Two attempts by Robert Lewandowski and Raphinha failed to break into Thibaut Courtois' goal.

Real Madrid actually scored first in the 9th minute. Vinicius Junior stabbed on the left and fired a cross that hit Araujo's head before entering Barcelona's goal. The visitors lead 1-0.

Barcelona tried to chase down the equalizer in the 24th minute. Raphinha's cross was headed by Andreas Christiensen, but the ball was wide of Thibaut Courtois' goal.

Christensen got another chance in the 32nd minute after receiving Frenkie de Jong's pass. This time, Courtois was able to secure it.

Two minutes later, Raphinha again threatened. He stabbed into the heart of the defense. However, his shot could still be saved by Courtois.

Barcelona were finally able to equalize in the 45th minute. Raphinha's shot was stopped by the Real Madrid defense, but the rebound ball was immediately kicked by Sergi Roberto into a goal.

The first half ended in a 1-1 draw, as reported by Antara.

After the break, the two teams returned to play aggressively. Madrid threatened from Luka Modric's experiment. However, his shot was saved by Ter Stegen.

Barcelona hit back in the 75th minute. Raphinha and Gavi's cooperation was able to dismantle Madrid's defense, but Raphinha's shot was again parried by Courtois.

Real Madrid had scored in the 81st minute, Carvajal fired a cross that substitute Marco Asensio finished. However, this goal was ruled out by VAR because the player was offside even though he was very thin.

After that, Madrid pressed more at the end of the match.

Barcelona could have won in injury time. Alejandro Balde was free on the left after receiving a backheel pass from Lewandowski. The left-back then provided a pull pass to the penalty box that Franck Kessie kicked into goal.

The match ended in Barcelona's dramatic victory over Real Madrid.
