JAKARTA PSM Makassar is getting closer to the Indonesian League 1 title for the 2022/2023 season after securing the latest victory when hosting Bhayangkara FC

Playing in front of his own supporters who packed the Gelora B. J. Habibie Stadium, Makassar, Friday, March 17, 2023 evening WIB, the team nicknamed Juku Eja crushed their guests with a score of 3-1.

Ananda Raehan and Kenzo Nambu gave PSM the lead in the first half. After halftime, Bhayangkara then cut the score through Anderson Salles' goal with eight minutes remaining in normal matches.

Persija themselves have only played 29 matches or still have five remaining matches. If they win the remainder of the match, Persija will collect 69 points.

While Persib still has six matches left. Even though later the Blue Prince won all the matches, their points were stuck at 71.

This means that if the following week PSM secures three points, Persija and Persib will definitely not be able to catch up with their points. The reason is, the total PSM points have reached 72 points.

The title-determining match for PSM will take place in the match against Madura United on Friday, March 31. The match will take place at the Gelora Madura Ratu Pamelingan Stadium.
