Race 1 WSBK At The Mandalika Circuit: Alvaro Bautista Is Working, Toprak Can't Do Anything

MANDALIKA - Racer Aruba.it Racing Ducati, Alvaro Bautista, won the second World Superbike 2023 race 1 at the Mandalika Circuit, Central Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara, March 4.

The Spaniard became the fastest to touch the finish line. He recorded a time of 32 minutes 44,093 seconds.

Bautista outperforms two Yamaha drivers, Toprak Razgatlioglu and Andrea Locatelli.

Toprak is 4,809 seconds adrift of Bautista. Locatelli clashed 6.586 seconds from the winner.

The unfortunate fate of Bautista's teammate, Michael Rinaldi. The rider who dominated the free practice session crashed on the initial lap.

He fell at the first corner after hitting another rider. As a result, he failed to continue the race.

Meanwhile, Jonathan Rea achieved an unsatisfactory result. The Kawasaki champion only finished ninth with a difference of 14,454 seconds from Bautista.

Meanwhile, his teammate, Alex Lowes, took 10th place.

A pretty good achievement was achieved by former MotoGP rider, Danilo Petrucci. The Italian man who is now riding Ducati's motorbike finished fifth, behind Axel Bassani.
