Floyd Maywather's First Victory In England Feels Hampa, It Turns Out This Is The Cause

JAKARTA - Former professional boxer, Floyd Mayweather, has made a new record in his career. He took the ring on British soil for the first time.

Even happier, Mayweather won in his British debut party.

Mayweather is dealing with former reality TV star Aaron Chalmers. The two of them got into an exhibition fight at the London Arena O2, last Saturday, local time.

Unfortunately, the 46-year-old man's victory felt a little empty. The reason is, no one saw him fight Chalmers because the match was watched by only a handful of people.

As many as 20,000 seats look empty. Mayweather also complained about this. He considered that ticket sales should have been done sooner.

"We made this preparation in one month, not even four weeks. I think tickets should be sold much sooner," Mayweather complained.

However, he did not want to blame the promoter. "This new team is still learning. I have to take my hat off on them, it's not their fault," he said.

Mayweather is actually naturally disappointed. This is very rare when he goes up the ring, especially if that happens in the United States.

"While we were fighting in the US, as soon as we announced the fight, tickets were sold immediately. Here, we announce the fight and tickets are not sold until a week or two weeks later," he said.

Although not many fans watched his fight in England, Mayweather did not give up. "If British fans want me back, I will come back," he concluded.
