Ever Offered To Be A Norwich City Club Owner With Investment Values Only IDR 18 Thousand

JAKARTA A surprising confession was made by Hollywood film star Hugh Jackman. He once received an offer to co-owner the Norwich City club with an investment value of one or IDR 18 thousand.

However, the 54-year-old did not want to just become a club owner. He intends to play for British club Norwich City if that's possible.

The intention arose after seeing fellow artist and rival in the comedy world, Ryan Reynolds, enjoying success since buying Wrexham with Rob McElhenney in 2021.

On one occasion, the player who is best known as a master wants to be a player who can play on the Carrow Road field for the club he loves at the same time that he wants to beat the team owned by Reynolds.

"I admit that when Ryan bought the team I got more than one offer from the team rival at a price of one pound to join as co-owner and it really teased me," Hugh told the BBC.

Hugh said that currently the artists who invest their money in football clubs already exist. However, not to be a player at all.

"Everything related to outsiders who came in and bought the football team, it tasted a little bit, I don't know, easy. I have decided to go further," he said.

"I'm really going to try to join the team. So Delia Smith, Stephen Fry, I'll come to try."

"I thought if I really wanted to stick to Ryan Reynolds, so if Wrexham played against Norwich, because obviously there's a level here, I think it would be better if I scored the winning goal," he added.

Hugh is known to have a close relationship with the Norfolkian. His mother is thought to still live in Norwich. Hugh had previously joked about Norwich's takeover offer in 2021 after Wrexham was bought by Reynolds.

He is known to have visited the club several times as a child, including visiting Carrow Road at the age of 16.
