Battle At KLB Has Not Started, Fary Djemi Francis Has Acted Sincere: Let's Unite To Save The U-20 World Cup

JAKARTA - The candidate for the 2023-2027 PSSI chairman, Fary Djemi Francis, is showing a reluctant attitude ahead of the election. While waiting for any results to be announced at the Extraordinary Congress (KLB), he invited all parties to unite for the sake of Indonesian football.

Fary Djemi Francis is one of the five candidates for the Ketum. He will compete with Arif Putra Wicaksono, Doni Setiabudi, Erick Thohir, and LaNyalla Mahmud Mattalitti to occupy PSSI's number one seat for the 2023/2027 period.

Despite being in competition, Fary Djemi admits that he is ready for the end result, whether he wins or loses. One thing that he stressed in this nomination exchange was the matter of cohesiveness that should be shown by the elected chairman and the PSSI Executive Committee (Exco) for the upcoming period to jointly advance football.

"I invite all of us, for us to be together. We must all be ready to win and we are also ready to lose," said Fary Djemy Francis at the National Football Caucus event which was held Monday, February 13 in the Senayan area, Central Jakarta.

"Experience from other countries (compact unity), but not only unity, intention is also important for the development of football. Unite and it's beautiful," he continued.

Fary Djemi's issue of unity and togetherness is not without reason. He was tired of the fuss in Indonesian football. According to him, football is essentially a nation unifier that should be built for mutual progress.

"Football is love, loves healthy competition, is organized, and loves the National Team of all ages. So I invite everyone, don't want to be divided again. We are tired, we have to have a good plan," he said.

"Let's unite, save the U-20 world cup. This is a good momentum for many things. Achievements, national image, and Indonesia's great name," concluded the man who is also a member of the DPR.
