David Da Silva Made Persib Bandung Still Unbeaten, But Failed To Break Persija Jakarta

SLEMAN - Bali United almost ended the series of unbeaten results of Persib Bandung, Friday, February 10. Luckily for the visitors, David Da Silva's goal saved them from defeat.

Bali United host Persib at Maguwoharjo Stadium. Both teams played equally strong with a 1-1 draw.

A fierce battle has been seen in the first half. Although several times creating chances, not a single goal was created.

Both teams had to settle for a draw with a score of 0-0 until the break of the match.

In the second half, Persib included Muhammad Rezaldi Hehanussa and Ricky Kambuaya replacing Victor Igbonefo and Beckham Putra Nugraha to increase the power of breaking.

In the 70th minute, Ezra Walian and Abdul Aziz were also included to replace Ciro Alves and Dedi Kusnandar.

However, it was the visitors who conceded first. Bali United scored in the 79th minute thanks to Privat Mbarga's goal which was combined through a counter-attack scheme. Mbarga's shot this time passed Nick Kuipers and Daisuke Sato's post before entering the goal guarded by Teja Paku Alam.

Persib continued to increase pressure on the front lines by bringing Ferdiansyah to replace Nick Kuipers in the 85th minute. Three minutes later, Da Silva was able to score to equalize to 1-1 completing Ricky Kambuaya's through ball.

In the final minutes of the match, both teams had several chances. However, until the whistle sounded the game over, the score remained 1-1.

An additional figure places Persib in second place with a value of 46 points, one point adrift of Persija Jakarta, which topped the standings. Meanwhile Bali United remains in sixth position with 36 points.
