Mayweather made an announcement on social media and confirmed that the fight will take place on February 25 at the O2 Arena, London, England.
"London. This is my first time showing my ability directly on February 25. I want the whole UK to be at the O2 Arena," he wrote, reported by The Sun.
Mayweather, 46, is actually scheduled to meet kickboxing fighter Liam Harrison. However, Harrison is still recovering from injury so he is not ready to fight.
Harrison had a knee problem and had to undergo surgery. Harrison's resignation, which was contracted by One Championship, forced Mayweather to look for a new opponent.
