Cold Opening When The Indonesian National Team Player Scored 7 Goals Against Brunei, It Turns Out That Shin Tae-yong Has A Reason

JAKARTA - The Indonesian national team won a landslide over Brunei in the continued match of Group A of the 2022 AFF Cup, Monday, December 26. Competing at the Kuala Lumpur Stadium in Malaysia, the Garuda Squad scored seven goals without reply.

In this match, coach Shin Tae-yong fielded the majority of the coating players. Against Brunei, the South Korean coach only left three core players who fielded against Cambodia.

They are Egy Maulana Vikri, Nadeo Argawinata and Asnawi Mangkualam. Practically all the first core players against Brunei are new faces.

Syahrian Abimanyu, Dendy Sulistyawan, Ilija Spasojevic, Ramadhan Sananta, Yakob Sayuri, Egy and Marc Klok are the list of names that contributed goals for Indonesia in this match.

Even though his team had a lot of goals, Shin looked cold without celebrating. He said his expression did not mean he was not happy with the achievements of his team.

"Obviously I would be happy and happy if the player scored a goal, especially if my excessive behavior was shown to the players," Shin said as quoted by Antara, Monday, December 26.

"I try to focus more so that players can focus more on strengthening their mentality. To be honest, in my heart, I am very happy," he continued.

In this match, Yakob Sayuri was named man of the match. But for Shin, all players deserve appreciation as the best player against Brunei.

"In my opinion, all players deserve it (to be the best player against Brunei)," concluded Shin Tae-yong.

After defeating Brunei Darussalam, the Indonesian national team recorded six points from two matches. Previously, Asnawi Mangkualam and his friends won 2-1 over Cambodia.

In the next Group A match of the AFF Cup, the Garuda national team will face Thailand's strong team at the Bung Karno Main Stadium, Senayan, Jakarta, Thursday, December 29.
