Khabib Nurmagomedov The Story Of The Other Side Of His Life: Having Trained Children Since Early Childhood, Intentionally No Exposing Family

JAKARTA - Former UFC world champion, Khabib Nurmagomedov, revealed another side of his life outside the MMA world. He revealed that he had coached his five-year-old son to fight.

Nurmagomedov also explained why he rarely posts his personal life in the media.

The UFC living legend has one daughter and two sons with his wife, Patimat. They have never been seen in public before.

His youngest son was born in 2019, just before Nurmagomedov's victory over Dustin Poirier. While his other son had begun to learn the ins and outs of it, when he was three years old.

"He started walking on the mat because we have a gym at home, my son has been practicing and doing gymnastics," said Nurmagomedov, as reported by The Sun.

"He has a good coach who I believe in, he has trained in Makhachkala. He started earlier than me, at the age of 3 and a half. I will be his wrestling coach," continued the former world champion.

Nurmagomedov is now much busier. He is managing the Eagle FC, his company. Time with family is much less.

However, he admitted that he was trying to always be close to his family in the midst of his busy schedule. "I always try to get my children to fly with me, but when school starts I won't be able to do that," he said.

Nurmagomedov also admitted that he did not always show his activities with his wife and children. According to him, not all personal lives should be shown on social media or something like that.

"That's not something I have to show on Instagram or other mass media. There are things I share with my fans and then there are family personal problems," said the legend.

As reported, Nurmagomedov retired with an unbeaten record, which is 29-0. He decided to end his career at the UFC in 2020 following his win over Justin Gaethje.

It was his only fight after the death of Abdulmanap's father and mentor, who died at the age of 57. Nurmagomedov promised his mother he would not fight without his father's guidance.
