2022 World Cup: Qatar Vs Ecuador Preview, Opening Match Of Host Evidence

JAKARTA - The opening match of the 2022 World Cup will be held on Sunday 20 November evening WIB featuring Qatar vs Ecuador at Al Bayt Stadium. For Qatar, this match is not just an opening, but proof that they are the hosts.

Being in Group A, Qatar does not want to be just a complement. Felix Sanchez's team wanted to prove that they could put up a fierce fight against the other three teams, namely Ecuador, the Netherlands and Senegal.

Qatar's first proof will be tested against La Tricolor. The South American team has more qualified player quality based on notes on paper.

From the FIFA rankings, Ecuador is in 44th place while Qatar is in 50th position. For Ecuador, handled by Gustavo Alfaro, this is an opportunity that returns after their last appearance at the 2014 World Cup.
