Shin Tae-yong To Indonesia on December 11

JAKARTA - PSSI Technical Director Indra Sjafri said that the U-19 national team coach Shin Tae-yong will return to Indonesia no later than 11 December 2020.

"Based on the communication, he asked to come to Indonesia on December 11, 2020," said Indra to Antara in Jakarta, Monday.

Shin Tae-yong is currently still in his home country, South Korea.

The South Korean national team tactician at the 2018 World Cup is expected to accompany his foster children who are currently undergoing training camp (TC) in Jakarta.

In addition, Shin was also assigned to prepare his squad program which is planned to undergo TC in Spain starting December 2020.

The Indonesian U-19 national team is undergoing TC in Jakarta, whose activities began on November 13, 2020.

TC lasted until Amiruddin Bagas and his friends left the country to continue TC.

As long as Shin and some of his assistants were still in South Korea, the TC for the U-19 national team in Jakarta was led by Nova Arianto. Shin himself watched virtually.

There are 34 players who participated in the TC in preparation for the U-19 Asian Cup and U-20 World Cup in 2021.

In fact, 38 players were summoned to the TC. However, in the process, four players were forced to leave TC for several reasons.

Two players, namely Serdy Fano and Mochamad Yudha, were dropped due to indiscipline, then Beckham Putra was injured and Brylian Aldama had to go to Croatia to strengthen his new club, HNK Rijeka.
