JAKARTA - The Kratingdaeng Red Bull Next Generation program was officially launched in Indonesia by TCP Group, the owner of the Kratingdaeng Red Bull energy brand.
Together with PT Aktif Energi Indonesia (AEI), this program is a platform for athlete development that aims to find, support, and accelerate the development of talented young athletes in Southeast Asia.
Indonesia and Malaysia are the first countries to run the program. Athletes aged 18 to 25 from various sports, including esports, can register starting June 2026 through the official Kratingdaeng Red Bull website, where the first selected group of athletes is scheduled to be announced in August 2026.
This program is part of TCP Group's long-term commitment to supporting the future of sports, developing young talent, and creating more opportunities for athletes in the Southeast Asian region.
Unlike traditional sponsorship programs, Kratingdaeng Red Bull Next Generation is designed as a long-term platform that focuses on athlete development, increased visibility, and career advancement.
The selection process not only considers achievements and competition results, but also assesses the mindset, development, character, and commitment of athletes to the sports they pursue.
Head of Marketing PT Aktif Energi Indonesia (AEI), Arif Ritonga, assessed that this program is an important opportunity to support young Indonesian athletes who have high spirit and dedication.
"In Indonesia, AEI is proud to lead this platform and bring it closer to Indonesian athletes, while helping to create more visibility and opportunities for the next generation of sports talent across the country," said Arif Ritonga at a press conference in Jakarta, Wednesday, June 24, 2026.
Athletes selected for this program will receive various forms of support tailored to their needs, ranging from workshops, mentoring, media training, financial assistance, to exposure through various Kratingdaeng Red Bull communication channels.
The program also presents Martin Pfeifenberger, a performance expert who has more than two decades of experience in handling elite athletes from various sports, including Formula 1, the Olympics, football, triathlon, and endurance sports.
One of the uniqueness of Kratingdaeng Red Bull Next Generation is an inclusive approach. This program is open to all sports and disciplines, including esports, for both individual athletes and teams.
In addition to performance development, this program also carries the concept of telling athletes by documenting their journey from the beginning of their careers. Through this approach, Kratingdaeng Red Bull wants to showcase the stories of the struggles, training, challenges, and achievements of young athletes before they gain widespread recognition.
With the launch of this program, Kratingdaeng Red Bull hopes to help produce the next generation of Indonesian athletes who are ready to compete at both national and international levels.
