Juventus Bantai Empoli 4-0, Allegri: Match Not Easy

JAKARTA - Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri was satisfied with his team's big win against Empoli, Saturday, October 22 in the morning WIB. Even though they won, Allegri admitted that the match was not easy.

In the 11th week of Serie A 2022/2023 at the Allianz Stadium, Juventus as the host won 4-0. Moise Kean opened the scoring when the game was running eight minutes, followed by Weston McKennie (55) and brace from Adrien Rabiot (82, 90+4).

Despite a big win, Allegri said Empoli was not an easy opponent. He called this victory not as easy as it seems.

"I don't think this match is easy to win," Allegri told DAZN.

The reason Allegri said that was quite strong, because according to him Empoli was a very tough opponent. He considered Juventus had difficulty penetrating the guest's game in the first 60 minutes.

He also said that Empoli also had a number of dangerous opportunities, so he considered Juventus lucky not to concede this match.

"For 60 minutes Empoli really made us suffer. When we attacked, we had the opportunity to increase our lead at the same time we also had a risk of conceding goals," continued Allegri.

Although admitting that Empoli was not an easy opponent, Allegri revealed things that finally made the Old Lady win. Because the guest's performance began to decline in the second half and Juventus could increase the intensity.

"In the second half we improved our game. Empoli was a little slack so this match became interesting because we made a lot of chances," he added.
