Cristiano Ronaldo Ukir Record After Bobol Gawang Everton, Already Printed 700 Goals At The Club Level

JAKARTA - Cristiano Ronaldo has again added to his football career. He has just scored his 700th goal while playing at club level.

The Portugal international's record was made while helping Manchester United win 2-1 over Mr. Everton in the 10th week of the 2022/2023 Premier League at Goodison Park, Monday morning.

Ronaldo hit this new record after playing for the five clubs he defended, including his two Red Devils uniform opportunities. In total he spent 20 years and two days to set this record.

On his first chance to defend MU, Ronaldo recorded 118 goals. Meanwhile, last night's goal was CR7's 26th goal for the team based at Old Trafford since moving from Juventus last summer.

As for the remaining goals, he scored with Sporting Lisbon, Real Madrid, and Juventus. In Sporting he scored a total of five goals, along with Los Blancos he scored 450 goals, and while at Juventus he scored 101 goals.

This goal against Everton is very special for Ronaldo. Because this is his second goal for Erik ten Hag's team after appearing 10 times in all competitions this season.

This record keeps Ronaldo ahead of Lionel Messi for the total goals scored for the club. Messi is currently still nine goals adrift in his rival.

Meanwhile, on the MU side, this victory is the fifth this season out of eight matches that have been played. A collection of 15 points makes MU now in the last place in the top five.
