JAKARTA - The Indonesian Badminton Association (PBSI) has made a reshuffle in the women's doubles sector. A new couple was finally born.

It was recorded that there were two new pairs, namely Nita Violina Marwah/Tryola Nadia and Ribka Sugiarto/Lanny Tria Mayasari.

Nita was previously paired with Princess Syaikah. Meanwhile, Ribka duet with Febby Valencia Dwijayanti Gani who chose to withdraw from the national training.

The two new pairs will take their first exam at the Vietnam Open 2022. This tournament will take place 27 September-2 October.

In addition to the two new pairs, PBSI also played Febriana Dwi Puji Kusuma/Amalia Cahaya Pratiwi. The world number 33 pair will be the mainstay of the Red and White.

Previously, PBSI's women's doubles coach, Eng Hian, explained the reasons behind the new couple formed. He said this was a refresher.

"This is a refresher and we are looking for a partner who can support the women's doubles above. One of them is in a way like this to continue its goal of finding a better partner," said Eng Hian, as quoted by Antara, some time ago.

Indonesia itself sent 17 representatives to compete at the Vietnam Open 2022. Not only national training athletes, several players from the club also participated.
