Nate Diaz Yakin Tuang Trilogi Lawan McGregor Will Peristiwa, Tapi Kini Fokus Dulu Lawan Chimaev

JAKARTA - The two fights between Nate Diaz and Conor McGregor were one of the most successful UFC events of all time and there was a lot of talk that they could fight for a third time. Diaz, in his part, believes the trilogy duel will happen.

The first Diaz-McGregor fight ranks fifth in UFC history for PPV (pay per view) sales. While the rematch is even better and still the third on the list.

Diaz believes he will fight for the third time with McGregor. But, for now, he didn't spend too much time thinking about the duel because the important duel was in sight.

Currently, Diaz is preparing for the duel against Khamzat Chimaev at UFC 279.

"The timing is not right now. We will focus on that later," Diaz told 'Inside Fighting'.

"It's bound to happen at some point... Yes, at some point. Back there and back to what he had to do, whatever it was.

"It's like, when we match, we'll fit. But we're not going anywhere."

Meanwhile, UFC president Dana White, when he spoke about the prospect of this trilogy duel in July, was not prepared to trigger the rumors.

He responded calmly and even tended to see it as a duel that would never happen.

"No, it's not like I said, 'Oh my God, I never had the chance to make a third duel (antara Diaz and McGregor)'. The first two were amazing," White told a news conference.

"The first Runde of Conor and Nate's first duel was crazy. Conor landed this crazy bomb, then Diaz came out in the second half.

"It was crazy, and then the second fight was amazing. If that happens, it happens, but we get what we wanted from the first two duels."
