Listening To Fodium Fasting, Esea Bastian Makes Fans Proud In Indonesia

JAKARTA - Enea Bastianini from the Gresini Racing team finally returned to feel the podium after finishing second in the San Marino MotoGP race at the Misano World Circuit Circuit Marco Simonelli, Italy, last Sunday after previously fasting the podium for quite a long time and finding it immediately.

Competing with the livery of a special motorbike once used by the late Fausto Gresini, the Federal Oil-backed racer lost only 0.034 seconds to the San Marino MotoGP champion, Francesco Bagnaia from the Ducati team.

"Although there were obstacles at the beginning, Enea was able to maintain the rhythm of the race and was able to serve the podium. Of course this makes fans in Indonesia who fully support the Gresini Team in the MotoGP class," said Federal Oil Brand General Manager, Rommy Averdy, quoted from Antara, Monday.

Rommy hopes that what Enea Bastianini achieved in the San Marino MotoGP will continue to heat up competition at the top of the standings for the world's most prestigious motorcycle race.

Berkat pencapaian di GP San Marino, kini Enea Bastianini berada di posisi empat klase sementara dengan 138 poin. Untuk posisi puncak tetap ditagang oleh pengejak dari tim Yamaha, Fabio Quartararo dengan 211 poin.

Esea Bastianini in the last two series has indeed begun to find the right vehicle suit as at the start of the season. However, the rider with the starting number 23 admits that the race at San Marino is indeed quite heavy despite starting the race from second position.

"I had a strange experience with tires at the beginning of the race, because it was difficult to get the perfect temperature. As I ran the race, I finally got the right motorbike control. I tried my best until the end of the race, first at bend 14 and then at the last corner because I wanted to win," said Esea.

However, Esea Bastianini also admitted that she made a mistake that made her lose the winning podium in San Marino.

Because of previous mistakes until at the finish line Francesco Bagnaia closed the opportunity to overtake and there was nothing I could do anymore. It's nice to finally be able to podium again with this livery as well as being a special circuit for me," Enea added.

Meanwhile, Enea's teammate Fabio Di Giannantonio was only able to finish in 20th position. This result is clearly unsatisfactory considering the progress of the team in the last few series is quite good.

"It's a shame that the race was a mess. I insisted too much at turn four to overtake and an incident occurred. Until finally I tried hard to finish by bringing the team's proud livery at this circuit," said the rider who is familiarly called Diggia.

After completing the race at GP San Marino, Esea Bastianini and Fabio Di Giannantonio immediately prepared for the next series at the Aragon Circuit, Spain, September 18.
