Japan Open 2022: The Daddies Win, Rinov/Pitha Are Crazy For Ticket Rebutting Towards Next Round

JAKARTA - Indonesian men's doubles, Hendra Setiawan/Mohammad Ahsan managed to win to advance to the round of 16 of the 2022 Japan Open. This certainty was obtained after defeating the representative of South Korea, Kang Min Hyuk/Seo Seung Jae.

In the match at Maruzen Intec Arena, Osaka, Japan, on Wednesday, August 31 at noon WIB, The Daddies appeared 34 minutes to win two straight games with a score of 21-15 and 22-20.

At the beginning of the first game Hendra/Ahsan were 4-11 behind when the interval of the first game ended. However, after the break, the senior Indonesian pair was able to rise and turn around to lead the first match with a 21-15 victory.

In the second game Hendra/Ahsan initially did not have any significant problems. However, when the 20-15 advantage was already in hand, the South Korean representative even chased until the score was tied for 20-20.

After going through a precarious moment, The Daddies' focus and hard work bore fruit, they were able to beat the South Korean pair with a screen of 22-20.

The Daddies also successfully advanced to the last 16 of the Japan Open 2022. This success was also followed by mixed doubles, Rinov Rivaldy/Pitha Haningtyas Mentari.

Rinov/Pitha's success following their seniors qualifying for the round of 16 could not be separated from the crazy performance shown during the deciding game. Had to play a draw, they were finally able to thwart the German representative.

Appearing for 52 minutes at the Maruzen Intec Arena, Osaka, Japan, Rinov/Pitha opened the game with a complete victory closing it also with a superior score. They won 21-9, 19-21 and 21.17 from Jones Jansen/Linda Effer.
