JAKARTA - The sad news comes from the world of football in the country. Ricky Yacobi, who is also the legendary striker of the Indonesian national team, has reportedly died.

Information on the death of an Indonesian legend football player was conveyed via WhatsApp chain messages. Ricky died at Mintoharjo Hospital, Jakarta, Saturday, November 21.

Ricky died aged 52 of a heart attack on Saturday, November 21 morning. He is known to play football in the Senayan field, Jakarta.

Based on the information, the deceased was taken to the funeral home at Jl. Jalak Utama block A3 Number 2A, DPR Complex, Pondok Ranji, Bintaro

Ricky is a member of the Indonesian national team who won gold in the 1987 SEA Games. Ricky is also the first Indonesian player to have a career in the Japanese League or J-League.

Ricky was one of the sharpest strikers of the 1980s. He is best known for defending Arseto Solo and the Japanese club, Matsushita FC. Ricky also recorded five goals in 31 caps for the Indonesian national team.
