Satria Muda Challenged By Amartha Hangtuah In The 2022 IBL Playoffs, Coach Youbel Sondakh Reveals The Condition Of His Team

JAKARTA - The coach of Satria Muda Jakarta, Youbel Sondakh, said that his team was in high spirits welcoming the IBL 2022 playoffs which will take place in Bandung.

The defending champion of the Indonesia Basket League (IBL) 2021 will face Amartha Hangtuah in the playoffs. Youbel admitted, his team is currently in a fit condition to face the match.

"The team is currently in good condition, all the players are ready to compete. The preparations for the last few weeks have gone smoothly," Youbel said in a press conference in Pluit, North Jakarta, Friday, August 5.

Youbel is confident that his foster children can perform well and maximally in challenging Amartha Hangtuah, who has a reputation that is no less classy. "I think we are 100 percent ready to face the challenge from Amartha Hangtuah," Youbel continued.

Even though he had a long absence in competitive matches, the coach had no doubts about the team's performance. The reason is, during the break before the play offs, Satria Muda had to undergo four test matches against other IBL teams.

The result, from the four matches that Satria Muda was able to carve a perfect record by picking four wins.

The last eight matches will use the best of three format. The first two matches are scheduled to take place on August 13 and 14 at C-Tra Arena, Bandung.
