Jake Paul Boasts That He Can Beat Canelo, He Also Compares Himself To Bivol

JAKARTA - Jake Paul compared his abilities with Dmitry Bivol, the second fighter to beat Saul Canelo Alvarez.

However, that wasn't the only thing Paul mentioned. He also said he could beat Canelo in a boxing fight.

Yes, the same Paul is going up against Hasim Rahman Jr., a fight the New York State Athletic Commission opposes.

"I still think Canelo and I are one of the biggest fights in boxing," Jake Paul told talkSPORT.

"I know I can beat him."

"People laugh at that, but Dmitry Bivol showed he's very beatable and I have style, range, speed, and power similar to Bivol."

Is Jake Paul telling the truth?

Paul believes that he has as much chance of defeating Canelo as Bivol.

"Stylistically, when you put us there it won't be a great night for Canelo," commented Paul.

Paul will face his first professional rival of his career, and his coach, brother, and New York State Athletic believe he will suffer a knockout and various injuries.

Paul could see himself as another Bivol. However, he had no Bivol experience.

Canelo is the best pound-by-pound fighter and the most popular boxer in the world.
