JAKARTA – Conor McGregor's physical changes are getting more and more terrible. His trainer John Kavanagh even likened McGregor's body to that of a gorilla.

McGregor continues to train after recovering from a broken leg against Dustin Poirier mid last year. On the sidelines of the exercise continued to focus on increasing muscle mass.

McGregor's strength also increases as muscle mass increases. Kavanagh felt that right after the two of them underwent a wrestling training session.

"He just appeared and I was shocked. And of course, he grabbed my neck. And I was targeted by this 2,000-pound gorilla," Kavanagh said, quoted by The Sun, Thursday.

McGregor now seems to have almost recovered and is ready to fight again. The condition of his legs, which previously could not be used to kick, also improved.

"I think it was literally the first time I've wrestled with him since the lead-up to the last fight. So, it's been a while," Kavanagh said.

"He's back to health now. He's back, able to do all aspects of MMA training," he added.

McGregor is said to have plans to return to the Octagon in the fall. UFC president Dana White even hopes that if he can he will be able to fight in the next few months.

"Conor wants to come back at the end of this year, early next year. When I spoke to Conor, Conor wanted to fight," White said recently.
