Gokil! Persija Jakarta Only Comes Out Rp3.04 Billion To Get 3 European League Midfielders?

JAKARTA - Persija Jakarta made a breakthrough ahead of the 2022/2023 Liga 1 competition. Former Borussia Dortmund coach Thomas Doll was brought in.

Doll's presence made the Persija Jakarta squad revolutionized. All foreign players belonging to the Kemayoran Tigers last season were expelled.

Doll then brought in three players from the European league. In fact, one of them is still active as a player in the Czech Republic national team, he is Ondrej Kudela.

Kudela was brought in from a giant Czech club, Slavia Prague. Apart from Kudela, Persija also recruited Hanno wayens (former cast of Hamburg SV and Hansa Rostock) and Michael Krmecik (ex-gawa of Club Brugge, Slavia Prague, PAOK Salonika and Victoria Plzen).

Persija Jakarta management gave a long contract to the three. The players were tied up until June 2025.

However, it is not known in detail how much the players received. The money spent by the club remains a secret for management.

Based on a search on the transfer site which is often a reference, namely Transfermarkt, Persija Jakarta is believed to not spend a lot of money to get these three players.

It was noted that this Liga 1 club only spent around 200 thousand euros or equivalent to Rp. 3 billion. The funds were spent to buy Janno Vocens from Hansa Rostock.

Meanwhile, Ondrej Kudela, as reported by Transfermarkt, was obtained with a free transfer status. The player's contract in Slavia Prague has indeed expired.

As for Michael Krmendik, it's still a question mark. However, several existing sources said Persija Jakarta also got it for free from Club Brugge.

Reportedly, the player's contract with the Belgian club was not extended. The new Persija Jakarta striker has recently been unused and has been loaned more often to other clubs.
