Moto3 Italy 2022 Results: Sergio Garcia Crowned Winner, Mario Aji Makes History

JAKARTA - GasGas racer, Sergio Garcia was crowned the winner at the 2022 Italian Moto3 race day on Sunday, 29 May afternoon WIB. Garcia won after team-mate Izan Guevara was given a one-place penalty.

Izan Guevara was able to cross the Italian Moto3 2022 finish line as the fastest beating Garcia by a margin of 0.021 seconds. However, for violating the track limit, Garcia who was in second place was later declared the winner.

For the third podium, this place was filled by rider from Leopard Racing, Tatsuki Suzuki. Meanwhile, the results of the Moto3 race day also made a new history for the Indonesian racer, Mario Aji.

Starting the race from 23rd position, Mario Aji then successfully finished in 13th position. This record is a new record for Indonesian riders.

The reason is, this is the best finish ever achieved by an Indonesian racer in the Grand Prix motorcycle racing event.

Mario Aji's record beat his own record when he appeared in Moto3 Mandalika. At that time, Mario Aji as the host was able to finish in 14th position.
