Everton Faces An Important Game Against Crystal Palace, Frank Lampard: If We Focus, We Have A Chance

JAKARTA - Everton continues to struggle to stay in the English Premier League next season. After failing to score points at home to Brentford, the Toffees will face Crystal Palace in their next match.

The match against Crystal Palace will take place on Friday, 20 May, early in the morning of GMT+7 (Indonesian Time). The match was held at Goodison Park Stadium, the headquarters of Everton.

Everton manager, Frank Lampard, said his team must respect the extraordinary qualities possessed by his opponent.

"They (Crystal Palace) don't have much to play for, certainly not like us, and they can do better (with freedom of pressure), but you have to analyze them for what they are," said Lampard, as reported by Antara from the club's official website.

"If we focus and approach the game like we did today, we will give ourselves a very good chance."

Everton needs a win in this match to be able to ensure themselves to survive in the Premier League next season without having to wait for the last week.

Currently, Everton is ranked 16th in the standings with 36 points from 36 matches, two points behind Burnley who are in 18th position.
